Kyle Ballard joined B&M Analysts in 2014 as a project manager and then went on the lead the provincial portfolio for clothing, textiles and furniture programmes. He is currently head of the Accelerator Programme which is the primary mechanism method for economic inclusion in the manufacturing industry in South Africa.
The KZN Clothing and Textile Accelerator Programme is in the process of onboarding SMEs onto the mentorship and upgrading phase. The cluster hosted a successful Dragon’s Den event with 10 businesses progressing to mentorship. On the Dragon’s Den Day the following categories and businesses were recognised and awarded prizes:
